In what seems to be a season of announcements, teasers and launchings, the Nigerian automobile space is receiving the much-needed attention this month. First, it was Innoson with an unveiling of its range of electric vehicles last week. Nord Motors has followed suit with a teaser of two new offerings to the market; a sedan and an SUV.

Automobile enthusiasts and loyalists to the Nord brand are looking forward to the new A3 sedan and the A9 mid-sized SUV. A mid-size SUV would be targeting the emerging, aspirational middle-class consumers and mid-level managers in organisations. Although it was not clearly stated, we anticipate Nord to, in the coming months or years, unveil its own version of an electric car.
The indigenous company has other range of SUVs like the A5 and A7. A bus product catalogue comprising of the Flit and Tripper.
